Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and describes the actions taken to ensure that our business is free from slavery and human trafficking.

Our Business
LVC Central Ltd has provided Vehicle Leasing and Contract Hire to established businesses since 1995. Additionally, we arrange daily rental and minilease. We operate exclusively within the UK and our office is in Milton Keynes, just over forty miles north of London.

    Our Policies
We have a comprehensive range of policies and operating procedures covering the recruitment, employment and conduct of people directly engaged in our business. We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority whose expectations are clearly set out with regard to the conduct of members of our staff and the company itself.

Our employees are supported by policies covering Equality and Diversity, providing clear Grievance procedures, ensuring Dignity at Work and means to facilitate Whistleblowing. The company ensures that all employees are treated fairly and equally and are paid in accordance with the law.
Our employees are not contractually required to work more than 35 hours per week.

We are confident that the practices we adopt and the terms on which we employ, manage and organise our workforce are of a high standard and effectively safeguard against the exploitation, abuse or coercion of the people we employ.

    Our Funders & Suppliers

LVC Central Ltd relies on funders to support its business. We are partners with the major vehicle funders including Lex Autolease and Arval UK. Our approach is to develop an effective business relationship, working side by side to face the challenges of running a vehicle fleet.

All of our funders are subject to section 54(1) of the Act. We have engaged with our key funders and suppliers to assess their practices and procedures and our intention is to conduct a process to confirm that they have themselves published appropriate Slavery and Human Trafficking
    Statements on their websites.

    Training
LVC Central Ltd will ensure that those with key roles within the business who have a direct responsibility for upholding LVC Central Ltd’s commitments with regards to slavery and human trafficking will continue to receive effective training and awareness.

    In Conclusion
The size and nature of our business, the expectations of our customers, and the relationships which we have with our suppliers, lead us to believe the likelihood of slavery or human trafficking being present within our operations, to be low.
However we are not complacent and we recognise the reality of human slavery and our responsibility, and the responsibility of our partners, to ensure the protection of human rights. A copy of this statement is made available to all employees.
